Job Description: Oversee the NAV finalization process, including P&L reconciliation and allocation to investors, for open-ended and closed-ended private funds trading a credit strategy; investigate and resolve discrepancies with third party fund administrators and internal teamsReview and reconcile the calculation and payment of management and performance fees in accordance with the funds’ governing documentsReview capital calls and distributions allocations and notificationsApprove client capital account statements generated by third party administratorsReview annual audited financial statements and coordinate with external auditors for the year-end audit processPrepare or review performance reporting, Blackstone reporting deliverables, and other ad hoc client or management requestsPrepare and/or review regulatory reporting, investor letters, and custom client reportingLiaise with various internal teams including Operations, Investor Relations, Management Reporting, Tax, and Legal and ComplianceOversee offshore and onshore resources to ensure accurate and timely preparation of files and provide additional training/professional development as neededApprove expense allocations, operating expense budgets, and vendor expense paymentsReview fund legal documents and continue to streamline or build processes and templatesQualifications: 7+ years of public accounting, fund, or administrator experienceBS (or above) in Accounting or FinanceCPA or CFA preferredExperience with credit products (loans, CLOs, bonds, revolvers, delayed draws) is preferredPossesses a strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, a positive attitude and genuine passion for excellenceAbility to partner across teams, summarize issues, and develop recommendations or make decisionsIndependent worker / proactive self-starterExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent attention to detail/accuracy and analytical skillsAbility to work in a dynamic, fast‐paced environment and handle multiple projectsStrong time management and multi-tasking skillsAdvanced Excel skills requiredThe duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position.
