Exciting opportunity for a Controller to oversee full-cycle and inventory accounting for a thriving company with over 30 years of success, located in St. Louis, MO. Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle accounting, including general ledger management and compliance with accounting standards Develop, manage, and oversee the company’s annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Perform account reconciliation, journal entries, accruals, and fixed asset management Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports, offering insights to the CFO. Process payroll in QuickBooks and manage payroll tax returns. Assist / manage company warehouse inventory and orders in/out of facility Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals. Manage payroll processing, inventory accounting, and the onboarding of new employees. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
