As a Banquet Operations Manager you will oversee banquet functions from organization to execution, lead and develop staff, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high standards for service, food quality, and operational performance.Benefits:Extensive and well-rounded training programContinued career development and growth opportunitiesGenerous employee discounts on dining, retail, amusements, and hotelsMultiple health benefit plans to suit your needsDental, vision, voluntary life, short term disability, flexible spending accounts and 401 (k)Paid sick leavePaid time offMonthly discretionary bonus potentialResponsibilities:Responsible for all banquet functions from organization to execution, including delegation of responsibilities; including creation of Maps for ClientsWork closely with Front of the House restaurant operations and other property events when neededEnsures excellence in guest satisfaction through effective training of staff, commitment to a "Do Whatever It Takes" attitude" and a hands-on, lead by example management styleResponsible for inventorying all banquet supplies and equipmentManage POS system to ensure all Event Invoicing and payment processing is handled impeccablyPartner with local vendors to secure appropriate rentals for varied equipment / suppliesManage hiring and oversight of banquet staff to include training, scheduling and development; in addition, arranging for temporary staffing as neededConduct client visits that are targeted and meaningful to build private dining salesQualifications:At least 3 years of restaurant, event or banquet management experience in a restaurant or hotel operationAbility to write business correspondences and understand full details laid out on Banquet Event Orders (BEO's)Ability to coordinate and communicate in a professional manner with all departments, guests, clients and outside vendorsKnowledge of presentation audio / visual technology is a plusStable and progressive work history; Strong work ethicPay Range USD $68,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.
