Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated care to stepdown and floor patients, maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 for stepdown and 1:5-6 for floor.
• Administer and titrate drips such as Heparin, Insulin, and Nitro while closely monitoring patient vitals.
• Collaborate with a team of clinical associates and tele/monitor techs to maintain patient safety and comfort.
• Participate in flexible scheduling with options for self-scheduling and block scheduling.
• Float to different units as needed while maintaining high standards of care.
• Use EPIC for charting and follow a dress code of royal blue scrubs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with willingness to wait for licensing, if needed.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience in cardiac care and titrating drips preferred.
• Familiarity with tele monitoring and Philips equipment is advantageous.
• Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to delivering holistic, patient-centered care.
