Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Stepdown Unit. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care to individuals with cardiology-related conditions, including heart failure and post-operative cardiac surgery patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a maximum of 3 patients in the stepdown unit.
• Titrate drips and manage medications including heparin, insulin, nitroglycerin, Cardizem, nicardipine, Lasix, amiodarone, and dobutamine.
• Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and clinical associates for optimal patient care.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs, utilizing telemetry monitoring systems.
• Participate in a team-oriented environment with other healthcare professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications are required.
• Previous cardiac care experience preferred.
