Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring Technician

IONM Technologist - (CNIM required)

To meet the needs of the patient and to support the department by performing a variety of clinical tests and monitoring procedures in the Neurophysiology Labs. Monitoring and testing are performed throughout the hospital: Epilepsy Unit, NICU, Operating Room, Radiology Suites, and Intensive care units. Ability to communicate pertinent information effectively to Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, and other appropriate personnel. To maintain, clean and calibrate equipment and maintain all records necessary.

Qualifications:

• Education/Qualification: Board Registration in related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the clinical Neurophysiology field

Skills:

• Fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity
• Ability to speak and write English fluently
• Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
