Job Opportunity – Urology – Virginia

Start Date: Multiple dates available throughout 2026

Location: Salem, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 24-hour call coverage shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM). Average patient volume of 28 per day. 20-minute response time required for call-backs. Typical in-person response needed 2–5 hours per 24-hour shift.

Highlights:

• High-volume, active practice serving as the main transfer facility for all of Southwest Virginia
• General urology case mix with a significant focus on kidney stones; robotic capabilities available (Da Vinci Xi systems)
• Supporting Level II trauma program with robust emergency department integration
• EMR system: eClinicalWorks and Meditech
• Must demonstrate 200 cases in the last two years (case logs required with application)
• Nursing staff support provided; facility actively recruiting additional full-time Urologist

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Current Virginia State Medical License
• Active DEA/CSR
• BCLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 200 documented cases within the last two years
