Account Executive - Central Region US (Texas)

VODA.ai seeking a full-time Account Executive based in Texas. As part of the team, you will be responsible for driving the B2G sales process for our AI-based SaaS solutions for water and wastewater utilities. Day-to-day tasks may include conducting product demonstrations, attending trade shows, maintaining partner relationships, and managing the entire sales funnel from qualified leads to closing deals. You’ll be working with director and manager level executives at utilities and engineering firms, representing our cutting-edge technology with the professionalism of a well-established company. Qualifications Previous experience working with utility or government SaaS (experience in water/wastewater industry preferred) Strong hunting skills with proven ability to close deals ethically and effectively Excellent CRM management skills with attention to documentation details Ability to travel frequently (minimum 70% travel requirement) Strong communication and presentation skills to demonstrate product value Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business or significant work experience in the water/wastewater industry This is right for you if you: Are likable, trustworthy, and professional in your approach Are outgoing, personable, and passionate about helping customers Work well in team environments while owning your individual sales process Have a consultative selling style that prioritizes win-win outcomes Use your charming personality to network and build relationships Are comfortable representing the company at trade shows (including booth setup, manning, and teardown) Can adapt quickly to frequently changing product features as a fast learner Value ethics over bookings and put customer needs first Enjoy building relationships with partners and maintaining regular communication Are results-focused rather than activity-focused Are willing to contribute regularly to the company’s sales playbook by sharing what works and what doesn’t Are comfortable being measured on quota, bookings, revenue, upselling, win/loss ratio, days to close, deal size, and other metrics Who We Are VODA.ai uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help water utilities predict which of their pipes are going to fail or contain lead.
