Marketing Executive Assistant

Job Title: Marketing Executive Assistant Department: Players Club/Marketing Reports To: Marketing Manager Salary: $60,000 annually (Exempt, Full‑Time) Qualifications Must be 21 years or older Must pass a pre‑employment drug test Must qualify for gaming license Cannot be convicted of a felony Training in Casino Tracking system and/or experience is a plus High School Diploma or GED preferred Must be able to communicate in English Previous Customer Service or Public Relations position (e.g., retail, sales, food service) and data entry experience Must have a positive outlook and like to work in a team environment Strong computer and social media skills are a plus Must be comfortable approaching people, speaking with strangers, and handling conflict calmly and effectively during high‑conflict situations Requires being on your feet most of the shift; walking, bending, repetitive motions, reaching, sitting, standing, finger dexterity Duties and Responsibilities Must work weekends, nights, and holidays Daily, weekly, or monthly reports to manager as required Provide the highest standard of customer service, greeting customers, establishing relationships, and enrolling customers in the casino/slots club Anticipate customer needs, promote a congenial environment, and use diplomacy, patience, and control when dealing with dissatisfied customers Refer unresolved disputes to the Shift Manager promptly Assist management in identifying new/regular players Have knowledge of all promotions, current and pending Be proficient in Microsoft Office Schedule, oversee, and ensure staff meet casino expectations Manage workflow, schedule creation, and team oversight Train new hires, evaluate performance, provide feedback, and identify career advancement opportunities Help resolve employee issues and disputes; perform all other duties assigned Supervise, train, and schedule Player Club Representatives; conduct performance reviews and ensure compliance with policies Resolve guest complaints, handle inquiries regarding player accounts, and provide high‑level service to drive retention Oversee, coordinate, and monitor marketing promotions, drawings, and giveaways on the casino floor Ensure accurate enrollment, data integrity, and tracking of player activity in the casino system Prepare daily reports on member activity, manage promotional inventory, and follow Tribal/Gaming regulations Collaborate with marketing, slot, and table games departments to support promotions and VIP guest needs Supervisory Skills Provide clear instructions, constructive feedback, and listen to employee concerns Invest in employee career growth and offer training opportunities Delegate tasks appropriately to meet deadlines Analyze situations, assess risks, and make quick, informed decisions for the team Handle disputes between team members constructively Adjust to changing priorities, new technology, or unforeseen workplace challenges Foster a supportive, safe, and comfortable environment for staff Physical Demands/Work Environment Employees are required to stand for extended periods, frequently walk, use hands for tasks, lift up to 20 pounds (occasionally more than 35 pounds with assistance), manage stress, make decisions under pressure, and use computer technology for more than 50% of the work time. Public Relations Employees are expected to maintain personal appearance, be well‑informed, courteous, cooperative, and act with an optimistic attitude, patience, and tolerance to command respect among coworkers and all personnel.
