Hourly Pay Range $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Position: Insurance Representative I Location: Skokie, IL Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm What you will do Initial collection activities related to the insurance balance on hospital accounts. Ensure correct payment received based on expected reimbursement. Reviews and analyzes all required demographic, insurance/financial, and clinical data procured by patient intake and registration areas necessary to expedite payment on patient's accounts. Performs pre-certification notification via telephone or electronically and gathers and completes all required documentation for submission to insurance carriers per payer requirements. What you will need Education: High School Graduate, required 2yrs post high school or degree preferred. Experience: Initial collection on claims for all payers (government and Managed care payers). Skills: Computer keyboarding, Epic, math skill, understanding of CPTs, UB preferred, effective communicator and analytical.
