You’ll serve elementary students (grades K–5), implementing individualized education plans and collaborating closely with fellow educators, paraprofessionals, and families. This role emphasizes building positive relationships and fostering student growth—academically, socially, and emotionally—through compassionate, innovative teaching.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license with dual certification clearly visible (required)
• Special Education teaching experience, preferably in a resource setting
• Passion for working with elementary-aged students and supporting diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Genuine commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom community

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction for students with identified needs in grades K–5
• Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to meet individual learning styles
• Write, review, and update IEPs in partnership with the multidisciplinary team
• Track and document student progress
• Communicate regularly with families and staff about student development
• Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and school events
