Aventura at the Bay is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dynamic Memory Care Unit Director to lead our specialized memory care community. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our memory care program while ensuring exceptional resident-centered care, regulatory compliance, and an engaging environment for residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Memory Care Unit.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care programs.

• Supervise, mentor, and support memory care staff through ongoing training and coaching.

• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations.

• Partner with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional care.

• Plan and oversee therapeutic activities that promote resident engagement and quality of life.

• Monitor quality assurance initiatives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and departmental performance.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license (RN or LPN), or other healthcare leadership experience as permitted by state regulations.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in memory care.

• Strong knowledge of dementia care best practices and regulatory standards.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Passion for providing compassionate, person-centered care.

• CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
