Administrative Assistant

Alloy Silverstein, a multi-office regional accounting and advisory firm, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Cherry Hill, NJ office. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of recent administrative experience in a public accounting firm, tax environment, or similar professional services setting.

You'll work alongside experienced CPAs and advisors, helping them serve local businesses, individuals, and organizations throughout our community. It's a team effort, and the attention to detail, dependability, and support our administrative staff brings to the table help make a difference for both our colleagues and our clients.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Processing financial statements and tax returns
• Preparing correspondence and client communications
• Preparing invoices and assisting with related administrative tasks
• Preparing reports and documents using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Communicating with clients and assisting with requests as needed
• Providing general administrative support to keep daily office operations running smoothly

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of recent administrative experience, preferably in public accounting, a tax environment, or a comparable professional services firm
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information and conduct business professionally
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive attitude and professional demeanor

Additional Requirements:

• This is a full-time in-office position at our Cherry Hill, NJ office.
• Availability and flexibility to work occasional overtime and extended hours, including evenings and Saturdays, during peak periods (tax season).

Salary Range

Starting at $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
