Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Spring Valley, CA Industry: Construction Industry/ Field Operations Reports to: HR Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary A Casper Company is seeking a passionate and dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to join a dynamic organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a broad range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment and labor laws. Your expertise will support strategic workforce planning, enhance employee engagement, and ensure the smooth operation of human resources processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proactive approach to HR challenges. Duties Support the day-to-day operations of a full Human Resources Department - 200 plus employees. Manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding procedures. Administer employee orientation programs and coordinate training and development initiatives to foster professional growth. Assist with the employee evaluation processes and performance management system to support organizational objectives. Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning requirements. Assist in handling employee relations issues with tact and professionalism, mediating conflicts and promoting a positive workplace environment. Manage benefits administration tasks such as enrollment, changes, and claims processing using platforms like Paychex, ADP, or Employee Navigator. Maintain accurate HR data entry within HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) like BambooHR; generate reports for strategic planning. Support change management initiatives by assisting the director with organization design projects and workforce management strategies. Experience & Qualifications Minimum of three years of experience in human resources administration or related roles within a construction industry setting. Bachelor's degree required. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and HR compliance requirements. Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition strategies utilizing ATS tools. Skilled in benefits administration platforms. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly. Experience in project management related to HR initiatives.
