Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a per diem ICU position requiring strike coverage on 09/15/2026. The role involves on-site onboarding and adherence to minimal compliance standards to ensure immediate readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare for strike staffing by completing onboarding requirements prior to scheduled date.
- Verify active nursing license and ensure certification requirements such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are current.
- Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record systems.
- Maintain compliance with vaccination policies including MMR and Varicella, either through vaccination proof or attestation.
- Accurately complete manual timesheets for shifts not recorded in the VMS system, obtaining departmental approval.
- Attend orientation sessions to qualify for strike assignment and ensure understanding of on-site protocols.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
- Possess current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP as applicable.
- Have recent experience with EPIC electronic health record platforms.
- Demonstrate ability to manage ICU patient care in high-pressure environments.
- Willing to work strike shift on 09/15/2026 with available flexibility.
- Comply with vaccination requirements or provide valid attestation.
