This is a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to work onsite if required. Working hours are Mon-Fri, 7am-6pm (8-hour shifts within this window). To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers success as if it is their own./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliScheduling appointments/liliCoordinating veteran care with community providers./liliCommunicating with internal providers regarding VA community care processes./liliValidating and updating patient demographic information./liliProcessing health records into CPRS and VISTA systems./liliManaging community care consults via HSRM and PPMS./liliHandling phone calls and inquiries professionally./liliUsing Microsoft Office tools and VA systems daily./liliPerforming pre- and post-appointment tasks./liliSupporting patient aligned care teams./liliMonitoring and reporting VetLink kiosk performance./liliEnsuring compliance with HIPAA, VA privacy, and security standards./liliParticipating in team huddles and maintaining workflow efficiency./liliCompleting mandatory and remedial training./liliMaintaining infection control compliance (e.g., TB testing, immunizations)./liliResponding to security incidents and cooperating with investigations./liliManaging records per VA and federal guidelines./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliCitizen of the United States of America./liliHigh school diploma or GED./liliMust live within 50 miles of the facility/liliAbility to speak clearly, hear and write English./liliUtilize computer programs appropriately, usually involving spreadsheets, word processing, etc.; log in; type 50 wpm with minimum errors./liliNo health restrictions affecting job performance./liliBasic medical terminology/liliMinimum 6 months of customer service experience./liliNo sponsorship available/li/ulpAll candidates must be able to:/pulliSit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift/liliLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist/liliLift up to 20 lbs/liliCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance/liliPush/pull with 30 lbs of force/li/ulpAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran./p/div
