Bring your expertise in occupational therapy to an elementary school setting, making a daily impact on young learners’ growth and success. This contract opportunity allows you to support students near Fontana and Rancho Cucamonga, CA, through a diverse range of therapy interventions—including on-site, home health, teletherapy, and traditional school-based care.
In this role, you’ll work closely with students, educators, and families, helping children build essential skills and confidence to thrive both academically and socially. If you have a passion for fostering growth in elementary-aged children and experience in fine motor skill development, this is your chance to shine.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, and/or healthcare settings
- Skill in delivering teletherapy services to students as needed
- Strong foundation in fine motor skills interventions tailored for elementary-aged children
- Understanding of IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Adaptable, proactive, and compassionate approach to supporting pediatric populations
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Deliver therapy in-person, in home settings, and via teletherapy platforms as needed
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor student growth and address needs
