Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate physical education endorsement
• Experience teaching PE or general education within a school setting
• Ability to develop age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans
• Excellent classroom management and strong communication skills
• Committed to fostering physical, social, and emotional growth through activity and teamwork

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead PE instruction for a caseload of 20-25 students, adapting to varied skill levels and abilities
• Develop and deliver creative, standards-based lessons promoting fitness, sportsmanship, and personal growth
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Create a safe, positive environment that encourages participation and teamwork
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff regarding student achievement and well-being
