Cabinetmaker

The Cabinetmaker is responsible for building and assembling custom cabinetry and millwork products according to specifications, drawings, and quality standards. This position requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pride in producing exceptional work. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications. Build, assemble, and finish custom cabinetry, millwork, and related components. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision and accuracy. Operate woodworking equipment including saws, edge banders, routers, sanders, and other machinery safely and efficiently. Install hardware and perform fit and finish adjustments as needed. Construct mock-ups, prototypes, or specialty components as required. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company quality standards and project requirements. Collaborate with coworkers and leadership to solve production challenges and improve processes. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment. Follow schedules and production timelines while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship. Demonstrate a positive attitude and contribute to a culture of teamwork, respect, and accountability. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous cabinetmaking, woodworking, millwork, or finish carpentry experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications. Experience operating woodworking machinery and hand tools. Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods, materials, and hardware. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and woodworking equipment. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Additional Requirements Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass a background check.
