Our certified and highly-skilled teams specialize in structural steel design, engineering, detailing, fabrication, erection and retrofit to existing structural members.SUMMARYThe Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating the burn table to process plate materials.DAILY RESPONSIBILITIESSelect correct machine settings for optimal burning, drilling, and processing operations.Measure materials to ensure conformance with design specifications.Select appropriate material type, stock size and dimensions as required.Transfer data onto materials.Keep a clean, organized and safe work area.Keep and manage an accurate record of daily operations and materials usage.REQUIREMENTSSkilled in interpreting CAD drawings, symbols, and notes.Ability to read tape measure to within 1/16".Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time.Must be able to identify different types and weights of steel.Possess attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills.Must be able to work 2nd shift. Must be reliable, punctual, and exhibit a strong work ethic. Must demonstrate professionalism and uphold our core values of being customer-centric and problem solvers.
