Accompany Japanese executive leadership to off-site business meetings, industry conferences, and site visits across North America. Facilitate cross-cultural communication and misunderstandings between local U.S. managers and Tokyo headquarters. Prepare terminology glossaries and translation guidelines to maintain consistency across all corporate documentation. Coordinate administrative scheduling and logistical support for visiting executives from global offices. Requirements 2-4 years of professional experience as an in-house or freelance Japanese-English interpreter and translator, preferably in a corporate environment. Native or near-native fluency in Japanese, including mastery of Keigo (formal business honorifics) and complex business terminology. Professional English language proficiency for clear, articulate verbal interpretation and precise written translation. Strong knowledge of corporate business etiquette and cross-cultural communication practices in both Japan and the U.S. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
