As a Security Officer - Overnight Driving Patrol in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details for follow-up.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by monitoring entry points, observing site activity, and reporting concerns according to post instructions.
• Support the professional appearance and daily operations of the location by assisting with visitor directions, monitoring building activity, and communicating with property management and/or emergency contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
