Privacy Specialist

Supporting the organization's privacy program, the full-time remote Privacy Specialist I will assist with monitoring, auditing, and compliance activities while fostering a culture of privacy and compliance throughout the organization. Key responsibilities Assist with privacy risk assessments and support remediation efforts for identified risks Update and collaborate on privacy policies, procedures, and training to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements Conduct routine monitoring and auditing to assess the organization's compliance with privacy requirements Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent work experience required 1+ year of experience in healthcare compliance, privacy, or a related field preferred Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Rule requirements and healthcare privacy principles Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
