Job Title: Sanitation Worker Location: Baldwin Park, CA Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour Shift: (10: 30 PM 7: 00 AM) Job Type: Full-Time Job Overview We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and safety-conscious Sanitation Worker to join our team in Baldwin Park, CA. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and facility sanitation across our production areas and equipment. Working during our 10: 30 PM to 7: 00 AM shift, you will play a crucial role in preparing our facility for daily operations while upholding strict health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Equipment & Production Cleaning: Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble machinery and processing lines following strict sanitation schedules.
- Chemical Application: Safely handle, dilute, and apply approved sanitation chemicals, foaming agents, and washdown hoses to work surfaces.
- Facility Sanitation: Sweep, mop, scrub, and sanitize floors, walls, drains, trash areas, and common spaces throughout the plant.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), OSHA guidelines, and safety rules at all times.
- Waste Management: Safely empty waste bins, dispose of production scraps, and keep work areas free of hazards and debris.
- Documentation: Complete daily sanitation logs, chemical checks, and inspection checklists accurately.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous sanitation experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or food processing environment is a plus.
- Basic understanding of chemical handling, safety guidelines, and sanitizing protocols.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, reaching, and working in wet environments.
- Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance for the designated shift schedule.
- Schedule: (10: 30 PM 7: 00 AM)
- Pay: $20.50/hour
