Senior Analyst (Network Analytics & Decision Support) Overview We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join a team responsible for providing quantitative decision support for a large-scale broadband network environment. This position is focused on designing and executing analytical strategies that help drive operational and business decisions. The ideal candidate will translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches, work across large and complex datasets, and deliver actionable insights to both technical and executive stakeholders. This role is highly focused on analytics and problem solving rather than data engineering. Success in this position requires strong SQL expertise, the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources, and a talent for turning complex findings into concise, business-focused recommendations. Responsibilities Design and execute analytical frameworks to answer complex business and operational questions. Conduct pre- and post-implementation analyses for network configuration changes, engineering initiatives, and field trials. Perform root cause analysis to identify trends impacting network equipment performance and infrastructure health. Analyze and synthesize data from multiple engineering programs and operational workstreams to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities. Translate large, complex datasets into clear findings and executive-ready presentations that connect technical results to business impact. Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate operational performance and support strategic decision-making. Develop and communicate defensible, data-driven recommendations to stakeholders at varying levels of technical expertise. Work independently with minimal direction, bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous business challenges. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong experience writing complex SQL queries and analyzing large datasets. Demonstrated experience performing quantitative analysis and delivering actionable business insights. Experience conducting: Root cause analysis Hypothesis testing Experimental analysis Statistical evaluation of business or operational outcomes Proven ability to work with large, multi-source datasets and identify meaningful trends and insights. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor findings to executive audiences. Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms such as AWS Athena, Amazon S3, or similar technologies. Working knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for analytical workflows and automation. Experience applying AI tools or AI-assisted techniques to analytics, reporting, or process improvement. Familiarity with experimental methodologies including: Difference-in-differences analysis Telecommunications, broadband, networking, or other technically complex industry experience. Ability to quickly learn new technical domains and connect insights across multiple concurrent initiatives.
