Position Overview We are seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney to manage a high-volume docket of personal injury cases from intake through settlement. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident in liability evaluation and negotiations, and is driven to maximize case value. Responsibilities Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement Conduct liability analysis, evaluate coverage, and develop case strategy Review medical records, police reports, and insurance documentation to assess case value Draft demand letters, correspondence, and settlement communications Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes Maintain consistent communication with clients and provide high-level service Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient case progression Prepare cases for litigation handoff when necessary Maintain accurate documentation in the firm’s case management system Requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active member of the California State Bar in good standing 3+ years of personal injury pre-litigation experience Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently Strong negotiation and case evaluation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office Salary Range : $80,000-$200,000 per year West Coast Trial Lawyers offers a competitive compensation structure with strong earning potential, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a health savings account (HSA), a 401(k) with employer contributions, paid time off, sick leave, paid holidays, along with firm-sponsored team lunches.
