Lead Technical Business Systems Analyst - BPA

The Business Analyst is responsible for driving solution delivery and business outcomes by owning requirements, shaping solutions, and ensuring implementation aligns with measurable business value. This role operates with a high degree of independence and is accountable for translating business needs into implemented, validated solutions in partnership with stakeholders, PMO, engineering, and QA.This position requires a results-motivated, detail-oriented professional who will introduce structure and best practices while keeping processes lean and practical.Key Responsibilities 1. Requirements Elicitation & ManagementOwn end-to-end requirements lifecycle including prioritization, decision-making, and acceptance of delivered functionalityImprove project delivery quality and timeliness through requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholdersCapture, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirementsDevelop clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rulesEnsure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycleIdentify, resolve, and actively remove delivery blockers (dependencies, constraints, risks)Make trade-off decisions on scope, priority, and requirements clarity to maintain deliverymomentumDrive requirements from concept through implementation, ensuring readiness fordevelopmentAct as the final arbiter of requirement completeness and acceptance criteria quality2. Business Process AnalysisOwn delivery of process improvements through implementation, not just recommendationValidate that process changes are adopted and producing expected outcomesIdentify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities; establish improvement plans with stakeholders; lead improvement initiatives to completionEnsure process alignment across stakeholder groups by working closely with process owners, teams, and end-users throughout the process lifecycle3. Stakeholder CoordinationDevelop and maintain professional relationships with business users & technical teamsDrive stakeholder alignment through clear decisions, structured trade-offs, & defined outcomesChallenge assumptions and push stakeholders toward actionable decisionsHold stakeholders accountable to timelines, inputs, and agreed outcomesMeasure, baseline, & improve stakeholder satisfaction by managing expectations, and building and implementing improvement plans based on collected feedbackEnsure alignment between business objectives and delivered solutionsMinimize reliance on workshops by proactively synthesizing inputs and presenting decision-ready outputs4. Best Practices & Lightweight FrameworksOperationalize and enforce lightweight BA standards across projectsEnsure adoption of templates, traceability, and change control through active governanceContinuously refine practices based on delivery outcomes, not theoretical best practicesDefine, deploy, and support a nimble approach to process managementSupport backlog grooming and prioritization processes5.
