Manager, Enterprise Intelligence Operations and Governance

AAA Club Alliance is hiring for a Manager, Enterprise Intelligence Operations & Governance to join our team! This role is responsible for establishing and managing the operational discipline, governance framework, and delivery standards that enable Enterprise Intelligence to operate as a scalable, trusted, and enterprise-wide analytics function. This role serves as the primary intake and coordination point for EI demand intake, manages prioritization, service expectations, request traceability, KPI governance, and documentation standards, while leading a team that supports consistent, traceable, and business-aligned analytics delivery across the organization.

The primary duties of the role are to :

• Establish, manage, and continuously improve governance processes that connect business requests to defined logic, validated outputs, documented decisions, and traceable delivery outcomes while serving as the single point of entry (“front door”) for EI efforts.
• Facilitate and manage governance forums and councils, including enterprise analytics coordination bodies such as the Analytics Collaboration Team (ACT).
• Coordinate with Data/IT partners to ensure clear accountability boundaries between analytics products, KPI definitions, semantic logic, data pipelines, source stewardship, and platform operations.

• Ensure EI processes support regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements through documented logic, approval history, version control, and traceable request fulfillment.

• Direct, coach, and develop employees within the EI Operations & Governance function, creating clear expectations, accountability, performance standards and team capability in governance, intake management, analytics operations, documentation discipline, and service management.
• Create and maintain documentation standards, delivery requirements, and a supporting knowledge base to ensure repeatability, transparency, version control, and knowledge retention.
• Oversee request triage, prioritization, and capacity planning, service tiers, service level expectations (SLA’s), and operational reporting to ensure work is aligned to business value, urgency, resource availability, and delivery commitments.
• Monitor and report on demand analytics, BI solution usage, adoption, effectiveness, cycle time, backlog health, and delivery performance to ensure analytics assets deliver measurable value and meet evolving business needs.

• Promote data stewardship and accountability across business functions by clarifying ownership, escalation paths, issue resolution practices, and reporting standards.
• Serve as a liaison and trusted advisor between business stakeholders, EI, Data, IT, Finance, Operations, and Compliance to ensure reporting needs are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered effectively.

• Coordinate and maintain the KPI catalog, including metric definitions, calculation logic, and certified standards to support a single source of truth.
• Ensure analytics-ready acceptance criteria are defined before work begins to improve solution quality, efficiency, and stakeholder alignment.

• Drive standardization, automation, and efficiency across the analytics delivery lifecycle, reducing redundant reporting, manual processes, and duplicative analytics efforts.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-focused service in support of the broader Enterprise Intelligence mission.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Analytics, Information Systems or related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven success leading cross-functional, multi-department initiatives involving analytics governance, prioritization, standards, or operational process improvement.
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics operations, reporting governance, enterprise reporting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, work allocation, and team development.
• Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, or governance/data-related credentials are preferred.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing employees in analytics operations, business intelligence, governance, reporting, PMO, or related enterprise functions.
• Experience designing or managing structured intake, prioritization, workflow, and service management processes in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Experience establishing governance standards, documentation practices, KPI definitions, or controls that improve consistency, traceability, and accountability.
• Strong ability to manage competing priorities, allocate resources, and balance enterprise standards with business-line responsiveness.
• Experience leading cross-functional collaboration with analytics teams, business stakeholders, and technology/data partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to lead governance discussions, document standards, and communicate clearly with senior leaders and operational partners.
• Ability to lead organizational change, drive adoption of new ways of working, and maintain delivery continuity during transition.
