As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of commissioning and aftermarket service. Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities. Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.This is an opportunity to invest in career development. This mechanic will enroll in training programs and JCI's STA to gain knowledge in HVAC products and sales quoting. The HVAC Truck Based Chiller Mechanic will work collaboratively with other local market mechanics.What We Look ForRequired:Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers system components.Minimum of three (3) years of practical working experience on ducted products, air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHU's or Roof Top ducted units with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience.Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.Be a dedicated member of a North America Branch team willing to learn and be responsible for startup, commissioning, trouble shooting and aftermarket services for this fast-growing business.Able and willing to travel, if required, up to 20%, to support Branch Customers startup and commissioning activities as well as aftermarket service troubleshooting.Universal EPA refrigerants licenseApplicable state or local licensingValid driver's license with a clean driving record.Able to pass the required knowledge examination to assess proficiencies.Attention to detail through interpersonal, digital, and written skills.Able to write and communicate to the customers' problems, cause, and corrective actions.Able to provide quotes to customers and participate in JCI's Service Plus Rewards program.Self-starter with a passion/ desire to learn and apply on the job.Prioritize safety in all formsPreferred:Aaon certification is a plusBoiler experience is a plus*This is a Bargaining Unit Position.Pay Range: $43.63+ hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
