Director of Admissions-Nursing Home Located in Hempstead, NY Salary: $90K - $100K RANGE; based on previous experience Qualifications of the Director of Admissions:
- Must have nursing home experience
- Must have previous experience as a Director of Admissions
- Must have long-term care experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven leadership and managerial skills
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the facility and attract new residents, including conducting tours.
- Handle inquiry calls from hospitals, families, etc., and provide appointments that include a presentation, tour and closing.
- Ensure all admissions activities and documentation comply with state, federal, and company regulations.
- Track admissions, discharges, and occupancy trends, and prepare regular reports for facility leadership.
- Supervise and manage admissions staff
