You can review the additional job description section on postings for documents that may be required.* Prior to submitting your application, please review and update (if necessary) the information in your candidate profile as it will transfer to your application.## Job Title:Assistant Coach, Women's Lacrosse## Department:Athletics | Lacrosse Women**Job Description** Instructs and teaches athletes in fundamentals of lacrosse, coaches technique and strategy. Assists in selection of team members and recruiting activities in compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules and regulations. Assists the head coach in the coordination of administrative areas of program management including, but not limited to, scheduling of competitions and practices, travel plans, equipment. Responsible for the oversight and development of 1other assistant coach and the director of operations. Monitors academic progress of student athletes; audits information from academic support services, ensures compliance with conference, NCAA, and University rules and regulations. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged. **Minimum Education Required** Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience **Additional Education Desired** Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience **Required Qualifications** Prior lacrosse coaching experience, preferably at the intercollegiate level required. Ability to work with a diverse population. Ability to travel extensively during recruiting process required. Knowledge and experience working with NCAA rules and regulations desired.## Additional Information:## Location:Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium (0092)## Position Type:Term (Fixed Term)## Scheduled Hours:40## **Shift:**Varying Shifts***Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
