Description:

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

The Maintenance Person's responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

-Filtering oil fryers daily

-Maintaining outside grounds

-Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms

-Unload delivery truck 2 times a week

-Take out and empty trash compactor

-Change light bulbs

-Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris

Requirements:

• Physical Stamina: Maintenance work can be physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods and lifting items. May be required to lift objects up to 50 lbs.

• Mechanical Aptitude: A good understanding of how equipment and machinery work is helpful for troubleshooting and repairs.

• Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify and fix problems efficiently is crucial.

• Time Management: Effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks is important.

• Teamwork: Working with other crew members and potentially contractors.

• Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment is essential.

• Fast-paced: McDonald's restaurants can be busy, requiring the ability to work under pressure.

• Morning Shifts: Maintenance shifts are often in the morning, but can vary.

• Some roles may involve helping with crew cleaning tasks like dishes during slower periods.
