Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opening opportunity is available to provide essential pharmacy coverage in a retail setting, supporting patient care for a duration of 4 to 6 weeks, or until a permanent solution is established. This role is based in the Cleveland, OH area and offers a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient population, primarily Medicare/Medicaid recipients and low-income individuals.
• Utilize strong patient consultation skills to effectively communicate, especially with patients managing advanced chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and multiple sclerosis.
• Employ compassion and patience, recognizing the challenges faced by patients with low literacy levels.
• Accurately process prescriptions and manage medication records using Pioneer Rx software.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize therapeutic outcomes and enhance patient understanding.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with proven experience in retail and specialty pharmacy settings.
• Exceptional patient counseling abilities, with a focus on chronic disease management.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is preferred.
• Demonstrated compassion and cultural sensitivity towards underserved and vulnerable populations.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
