Overview

Our organization stands as a premier national platform dedicated to women's healthcare. We are currently looking for a Full-Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our affiliated practice located in Cape Coral, FL . Both seasoned professionals and new graduates are encouraged to apply!

As CNMs, you will provide a comprehensive range of services, including well-woman examinations, family planning, contraceptive counseling, and management of common gynecological conditions. In the obstetric environment, your responsibilities will encompass prenatal care, labor and delivery, as well as postpartum management.

Position Highlights

• Become part of a well-established practice that has been serving the Cape Coral and Fort Myers communities for over 30 years.
• Join a large single-specialty group consisting of 16 physicians (4 focused solely on GYN), 9 midwives, and 3 physician assistants.
• One call day per week.
• Enjoy a day off following your call.
• Participate in weekend calls on a 1:6 rotation.
• Flexible scheduling options available: choose between a 3 or 4-day work week.
• Deliver at Cape Coral Hospital, which caters exclusively to low-risk obstetrics.
• High-risk obstetric cases will be transferred to Health Park Medical Center.

Requirements

• Preferred: Two years of full-time experience as a CNM.
• Labor and delivery experience is mandatory.
• Must be an AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife.
• Graduate from a nurse-midwifery program accredited by the ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME).
• Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN) is required.
• Must hold an active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license.
• Current CPR and NALS certifications are necessary.
• Possession of a current unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain one.
