We are currently searching for a Part Time Temp to Perm Office Assistant for our client located in Waukegan, IL. This is a Part-Time office role with hours 9:00am-3:00pm M, T, TH, F.

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to support daily operations for our client, a well-established independent insurance agency. This role involves assisting clients, answering phones, managing administrative tasks, and supporting agents to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients in person and handle incoming phone calls and emails
• Provide basic information about insurance policies and services
• Maintain and organize client records and files
• Process payments and issue receipts
• Schedule appointments and follow up with clients
• Support agents as necessary
• Ensure office supplies are stocked and workspace is organized

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred)
• Previous office, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry)
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a small office environment

Compensation & Schedule:

• $23-$25 per hour (Part-Time) Temporary opportunity with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.
