About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Odessa, TX | PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level nursing care to PCU, Medical/Telemetry, and critical care patients
• Manage patient assignments at MS/Tele ratios of 6:1 and Critical Care ratios of 2:1
• Float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, PCU, and/or Critical Care units as needed based on census
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Must be available to start early October
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
• Background in PCU, Stepdown, Medical/Telemetry, or Critical Care nursing
• Comfort and flexibility floating across multiple units and acuity levels
