Job Title: Sanitation Technician

**Starting Pay: $18/hr

**3rd Shift: Hours from 11:30 pm – 4:30 am, Monday-Friday

Summary

Responsible for washing and cleaning all surfaces, and use USDA approved chemicals to sanitize all components of our food production and processing equipment. Also needed for the breaking down of equipment post production, and reassembling equipment in production room. The sanitation worker needs to perform a multitude of tasks, and ensure no unnecessary waste along the assembly line. Responsible for following all safety, GMP and SQF policies/procedures, as well as adherence to PPE/hygiene policies, in cooperation with the supervisor.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

· Clean and sanitize food production and processing equipment

· Assemble and reassemble production equipment

· Operate powerful cleaning appliances such as high pressure hoses and other tools

· Correctly use cleaning chemicals and supplies to indicated standard

· Adhere to all company GMPs, SQF requirements, SSOPs and any other safety policies and procedures

· Willing to perform all tasks assigned by supervisor and complete them to company standard

· Report any accident or condition which may result in an accident

· Willing to be flexible and perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible for employment in the United States
• Must wear all proper protective equipment
• Must have consistent transportation to and from work to accommodate shifts ending at different times
• Work in constant cold temperatures (25 to 40 F0)
• Lift and carry 50+ pounds
• Able to understand simple verbal and written instructions in English
• Pass physical and drug test
• Compliance with all safety rules 

Must dress warm for this job. Wear multiple layers of clothes/socks! Will be working in 30-40 degrees F.
