Summary: The Wiring Technician will assemble, install and test complex wiring harnesses and electrical systems to produce heavy-duty tow trucks. The technician will ensure all components are wired correctly and function safely.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires with precision using hand and power tools.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting on completed assemblies to identify and correct faulty wiring or component issues.
• Assemble and wire electrical control panels, circuit breakers, switches, and other electronic components according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, making necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure all systems meet quality standards.
• Oversee a safe workspace to ensure work areas are clean and organized, including tools and equipment, to include all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to work effectively to ensure production goals and deadlines are met.
• Must have basic hand tools (wrenches, ratchets, sockets, wiring tools, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent experience.• One to two years' related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.• Knowledge of basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Required knowledge on a variety of hand tools, to include pneumatic tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installation tasks.
• Must understand hydraulics and 12-volt DC electrical systems.
• Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months wiring experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have basic computer skills.
