Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Plastics Manufacturing Job Description this is a fully on-site position in Chattanooga, TN We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance technician to join our team in a dynamic plastics manufacturing environment. This role requires expertise in mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the efficient operation of our machinery and equipment. Responsibilities Conduct regular preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems. Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues. Perform welding and work with PLC controls to maintain and repair HVAC systems. Collaborate with a smaller maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks. Essential Skills Proficient in maintenance, mechanical, and electrical systems. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Skilled in welding and PLC control systems. Familiarity with HVAC systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with drives. Understanding of detailed schematics. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Collegedale, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
