About This Role The Registered Nurse in Cardiac Rehab provides direct care to patients, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve desired health outcomes. Highlights Location: Brick, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Part-time, Day shift What You’ll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients. Develop and coordinate patient-centered plans of care. Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes. Identify ethical issues and enhance patient satisfaction. Maintain competencies and certifications as required. Requirements Education BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience 6+ months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred 2 years of telemetry, medical surgical, or critical care experience preferred Cardiac Rehab experience is highly desired Licenses & Certifications Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification required ACLS required About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
