Service Advisor

Location: 4740 Blountstown Hwy Tallahassee, FL, 32304 Overview Are you looking to further develop your profession into a career? Nextran Truck Centers is hiring! Responsibilities Greeting customers and providing best-in-class customer service with a smile! Interview the customer thoroughly regarding the nature of the complaint. Inspect the vehicle, taking pictures of the 4 corners, windshield, and VIN. Create ASIST Case, and Repair Order for the repair. Schedule service appointments with Shop Foreman Preparing written estimates for parts and labor, providing accurate timeframe for completion, inspecting vehicle and recommending additional services as needed. Educating customers on manufacturer’s recommended maintenance. Tracking service work/repair orders, updating dispatch system, and providing customers with timely follow-up on work in progress. Explaining service work and related charges to customers before, during, and after the completion of services. Reviewing completed work with the Shop Foreman and back parts counter personnel. Processing repair orders and handling customer’s method of payment. Test Driving vehicle with customer, as needed. Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications Skills and Qualifications Minimum three years’ experience heavy duty truck industry with a working knowledge of parts and services used in repair and maintenance. Similar experience in related industries will be considered. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Computer proficiency Ability to understand financial information as it pertains to dealership operations High School Diploma - College or Technical training preferred but not mandatory Valid CDL license is preferred.
