UI Product SW Lead

DescriptionSAIC is the premier Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) integrator with expertise in transforming legacy command and control systems into a modern hybrid cloud environment to accelerate decision making and increase mission success. This new program is part of a broader effort to provide a tactical operational picture aligned with the JADC2 and Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) to adapt to new and emerging threats. This next generation approach shall employ the latest advancements across the technology spectrum and distributed architectures to deliver a cutting-edge approach.SAIC is seeking a Front End Software Integration Engineer to support of our United States Air Force customer. The ideal candidate will require experience in software (SW) design, development, deployment, testing, product development lifecycle, product backlog development and refinement. Candidate will work closely with development teams, and other stakeholders to design and implement integration of COTs and GOTs products.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, debugs, deploys, test and documents, software for new and existing systems.Support integration of COTs and GOTs products between user facing services and data management, track management and command and control (C2) software components.Familiarity with MIL-STD 6016, 2025, and Tactical Data Links.Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.Support software and hardware integration and testing activities.Collaborate with Developers and Lead Software Integration Engineer to understand presentation layers and other map data requirements and integration needs related to product information.Design and implement solutions to integrate product data across various software systems and applications.Conduct code reviews for software changes, perform development testing, develop and maintain unit test procedures, provide code difference reports, and collect required software metrics.Ability to analyze, groom and decompose of integration task from Epics to features to user stories.QualificationsUS Citizenship with an active secret clearance. Will also need the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree and nine (9) years or more experience; Master’s degree and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.Proven background working in software integration with specific experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:Experience developing and integrating Open Mission Systems (OMS) Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI) standards.Familiarity with MIL-STD 6016, 2025.Front End: Java, JavaScript, HTML, PERL, Rest, JSON, CSS, Python, PHP.Experience with presentation layer optimization.UX/UI Frameworks: React, Bootstrap, Angular, Dojo, Custom.Exceptional knowledge and experience in front-end application development, design, and software patterns using technologies such as jQuery, (React, Redux, Angular, NodeJS, etc.), RESTful Web services.Virtualization: VMware, vSphere, and Microsoft Hyper-V.Experience with DevSecOps practices such as continuous integration and development tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab Runners).Encryption/Security Technologies: SSL, TLS, WPA2, LDAP, IPSEC, CACFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with integrating NGA Mapping Services, ArcGIS, Map Servers, ESRI Mapping Services, BaseMaps, Mapping tools.Experience using code repositories that support distributed version control systems (DVCS) such as GitLab, Bitbucket, SVN.Experience implementing RESTful microservices, with a focus on scaling, decoupling, resilience, reusability of components.Job Field: SoftwareTravel: Yes, 10 % of the Time
