As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Wed12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entry and exit points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for potential security-related concerns, policy violations, suspicious behavior, and hazards, and report observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Document incidents, patrol activities, and other relevant observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
