Role Summary:

The Volunteer Outreach Assistant supports recruitment efforts and builds community relationships to grow the volunteer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and distributing outreach materials
Collaborate and work side by side with Outreach lead
Represent the organization at events and community spaces
Maintain volunteer interest lists and respond to inquiries
Help coordinate info sessions and orientations
Help plan community events
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in community outreach
Ability to work flexible hours and attend events
Must live in the Maryland, DC and VA area
