Role Summary:
The Volunteer Outreach Assistant supports recruitment efforts and builds community relationships to grow the volunteer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and distributing outreach materials
- Collaborate and work side by side with Outreach lead
- Represent the organization at events and community spaces
- Maintain volunteer interest lists and respond to inquiries
- Help coordinate info sessions and orientations
- Help plan community events
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in community outreach
- Ability to work flexible hours and attend events
- Must live in the Maryland, DC and VA area
