Role Summary:

The Volunteer Outreach Assistant supports recruitment efforts and builds community relationships to grow the volunteer base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and distributing outreach materials
• Collaborate and work side by side with Outreach lead
• Represent the organization at events and community spaces
• Maintain volunteer interest lists and respond to inquiries
• Help coordinate info sessions and orientations
• Help plan community events
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in community outreach
• Ability to work flexible hours and attend events
• Must live in the Maryland, DC and VA area
