Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Schedule
4x10.0 shifts, 40 hours per week; weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements
- New York State RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Telemetry experience
- 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide specialized patient care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
- Prepare patients and monitor them during procedures; assist with post-procedure recovery including PACU and extended stay.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Participate in critical response efforts for trauma patients, ensuring prompt and effective care.
- Utilize strong communication skills and critical thinking in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Compliance / Notes
- Required to wear hospital-issued and laundered scrub pants and tops, along with other infection prevention measures when needed in procedural areas.
