Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Parts Counter Associate to join a local car parts company in Waukegan! In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional support and ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, car parts knowledge and great customer service skills!


Duties

• Handle incoming inquiries via multi-line phone systems and respond promptly with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assist clients with product information, account questions, and service requests through effective phone communication and email correspondence.
• Utilize customer support software and productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and data entry applications to document interactions accurately.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Maintain organized files and records.
• Collaborate with team members to improve customer service processes and enhance overall productivity.
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette and demonstrate technical proficiency in computer literacy tools.

Experience

• Prior Car parts knowledge is REQUIRED!
• Demonstrated experience in customer service roles with a focus on client communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel (spreadsheets), and Outlook.
• Experience handling multi-line phone systems and front desk operations preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus
• Own transportation is required
