Job Description As a Security Officer - Desk Concierge in Scottsdale, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and staff while helping to monitor access and support security-related operations. This role combines customer service, communication, and professionalism in a people-first environment where Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative team works with integrity every day. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Staff the front desk and manage access activity by greeting incoming guests, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals according to property protocols. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate. Monitor lobby and entrance activity, observe for unusual behavior and/or policy violations, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence and reporting. Support day‑to‑day building operations by answering questions, handling phone and/or radio communications, documenting incidents, and completing assigned reports in accordance with Allied Universal standards. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card or license is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
