About the Position

Job Opportunity – Perioperative Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 1, 2026

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 24-hour in-house coverage with rotating on-call shifts (average of two 8-hour call shifts per month); 1:1 patient ratio

• Join a well-established 22-operating room perioperative department supported by a team of 120 staff members
• Work with a robust robotics program and gain or utilize advanced robotic surgical experience
• Diverse case mix including General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, GYN, GYN Oncology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Plastics, Burn, Urology, Podiatry, and Colorectal procedures
• Utilize Meditech EMR system with dedicated in-house team support during day and night shifts
• Hospital-provided scrubs with no floating requirements

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Operating room nursing experience strongly preferred
• Robotic surgical experience highly preferred and prioritized during candidate review
