Sous Chef

hed NYC is a modern Thai fine dining restaurant in West Chelsea, led by Corporate Chef Saint Piriya Boonprasan. We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef to help execute our five-course tasting menu and lead our BOH team through nightly service.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the five-course tasting menu with consistency and precision
- Lead and support the BOH team during service
- Oversee mise en place, prep schedules, and station readiness
- Assist with ordering, inventory, and food cost management
- Uphold food safety and NYC DOH standards at all times
Requirements:
- 3+ years in a fine dining or tasting menu kitchen, 1+ year in a supervisory role
- Strong technique and passion for Southeast Asian cuisine
- Calm under pressure with clear communication skills
- NYC Food Handler Certification required
- Available for evenings and weekends
Compensation: $25–$28/hr + 30% tip share from front of house, full time. Staff meal provided.
