About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Strategic Finance to join their mission-driven organization. This role is pivotal in shaping the financial future of the company, with a focus on treasury, capital planning, enterprise risk management, and organizational growth. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to senior leadership, influencing decision-making and leading initiatives that enhance the company's financial sustainability. Responsibilities include developing and executing treasury and liquidity strategies, leading capital planning, and establishing enterprise risk management capabilities. The VP, Strategic Finance will also be involved in commercial insurance strategy, financial performance optimization, and will play a key role in strategic transactions and partnerships. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a preference for an MBA or advanced degree, and a professional designation such as CPA, CFA, or CTP. They should have a proven track record of influencing executive teams, strong strategic and analytical thinking, and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into business decisions. Experience in capital markets, debt financing, and financial strategy is essential, as is a background in leading complex financial initiatives. The role requires a leader with exceptional communication skills, the ability to build credibility across functions, and a passion for the mission of the organization.
